The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee, is in existence from 2002 and has successfully clinched the different world mobile market branches and lies under Top-10 world mobile manufacturers. India has been a wealthy market for Gionee and has a large scope for it’s ‘not so high’ priced and highly efficient smartphone range.
The Gionee A1 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD Full HD with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Cortex !53 octa-core processor placed on MediaTek MT6755 chipset. It is aided by 4GB of RAM that offers lag-free multitasking and Mali-T860 GPU. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The Gionee A1 offers an internal storage of 64GB that can further be expanded up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card. In term of optics, the Gionee A1 sports a 13MP camera sensor at the back that features LED flash. The camera is capable of recording Full HD videos in 1080p. There is also a 16MP front camera sensor for capturing selfies and video calling. The front camera is capable of recording videos in 4K resolution. On connectivity front, the device supports dual SIM, 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 support and much more. The Gionee A1 draws its juice from a 4000mAh battery. The Gionee A1 gets tough competition from the Honor 9i, Vivo V7 Plus and the Oppo F3 in terms of price and specifications.
